Away We Go....

We love fun stories but they can be hard to find. Going "random" helps us find fun stories.

Here's how it works.  First, you get out a map of the United States and put your finger down on some random city.  This morning, we picked Bristol, Tennessee.
Then you go to your  handy, dandy Random Point Generator and use Bristol as a starting point.  You plug in a 200 mile radius form Bristol and ask for five random points.
After you generate your five random points, you ask to see them on a Google Map.
And then you pick one of your five random points and zoom in on it to determine the nearest city or town that might actually have a newspaper.  Today we picked the uppermost spot and Parkserburg, West Virginia, is the closest city.  So we asked Google for the Parkersburg newspaper.  Voila, "The News-Senteniel " appears.
And, well, naturally we immediately see the "Kayakers turn out for Paddlefest".  BINGO, we got a WINNER!  YEA for a Fun Story!  And, yes, it really IS a Fun Story, precisely the kind of Fun Story we love to read on a Fun Sunday Morning here in River City, Idaho.

Here's the link to the Fun Story.  Enjoy!

And so that's how we find Fun Stories.  EZPZ!
